A daily collection of snippets and highlights from the Quran. I started collecting these for every single night of Ramadan to send a Christian friend who’s interested in the Quran but struggles to find time to read it. So I thought to share these online for others who might also benefit.

One of my favourite portions because it has so many verses on nature.

13.2 It is God Who has raised the heavens without pillars that you can see — then established Himself on the Throne. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for an appointed term. He conducts the whole affair. He makes the signs clear so that you may be certain of the meeting with your Lord.

13.5 ˹Now,˺ if anything should amaze you then it is their question: “When we are reduced to dust, will we really be raised as a new creation?”

13.13 The thunder glorifies His praises, as do the angels, in awe of Him. He sends thunderbolts, striking with them whoever He wills. Yet they dispute about God — And He is tremendous in might!

13.15 To God ˹alone˺ bow down ˹in submission˺ all those in the heavens and the earth — willingly or unwillingly — as do their shadows, morning and evening.

13.19 Can the one who knows that your Lord’s revelation to you is the truth be like the one who is blind? None will be mindful ˹of this˺ except people of reason.

13.26 God increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). And they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.

13.28 those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of God. Surely in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest.

13.31 And if there had been a Qur’an (powerful enough) that mountains could be moved, or the earth could be split asunder, or the dead be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Quran). But everything is truly in God’s hands. Do the believers not realize that if God had so willed, He could have guided all mankind?

13.36 ˹The believers among˺ those who were given the Scripture (Torah, Gospel) rejoice at what has been revealed to you while some factions deny a portion of it. Say, “I have only been commanded to worship God alone, associating none with Him in worship. To Him I invite and to Him is my return.”

14.7 And ˹remember˺ when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.’”

14.12 Why should we not put our trust in God, when He has truly guided us to ˹the very best of˺ ways? Indeed, we will patiently endure whatever harm you may cause us. And in God let the faithful put their trust.

14.18 The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is like their deeds are ashes which the wind blows around forcefully on a stormy day; They will gain nothing (in reward) from what they have earned. That is ˹truly˺ the farthest one can stray.

14.22 And Satan will say when the judgement has been concluded, “Indeed, God had promised you the promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no control over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So blame me not; but blame yourselves.

14.27 God will keep firm those who believe by the Word that stands firm in this life and the next. And He will let the wrongdoers stray, and God does what He wills.

14.34 And He gave you from everything you asked of Him. And if you were to count the blessings of your Lord, never would you be able to count them. Indeed mankind is most unjust, ungrateful.

14.52 This ˹Quran˺ is a message for humanity so that they may take it as a warning and know that there is only One God, and so that people of reason may take heed.
